Amazing spot in Cozumel
Mi Casa is centrally located and an excellent spot for spending time on the island. The last few times we have visited, we have stayed in the Zapote room, which is a little more expensive, but for the price is a fantastic value. The places are beautiful and are incredibly relaxing just to sit and enjoy the space. We will continue to come back whenever we can!
This is a great place to stay in Cozumel, and it’s relatively unique. We would love to stay here again next time we’re in Cozumel.
The location of this hotel is fantastic. Roughly a ten-minute walk to town. Very close to the waterfront and plenty of great restaurants all around, and a small corner store a block away. It’s a relatively rural looking area, but at night the restaurants open up all around. Breakfast is fantastic, and the staff is warm and friendly with their mini sub in cozumel suggestions. There are stairs to climb, so not the best place for folks with mobility issues.
We stayed in the Mamey room, and the balcony was great but offered no view. Our place had a safe and small fridge. All the rooms are fantastic, but I believe only the top floor would provide any type of light.
Nice place and inexpensive. Irma makes a filling breakfast each morning that kept me going through the day. The rooms are nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the hammock.
The only downside was that on our last day we got a surprise email asking us to pay an additional $32 from some new tax.
Despite the negatives, I will stay in the Zapote Suite in Mi Casa de Cozumel anytime I visit, if available. I am almost reluctant to recommend it, for fear it won’t be available or the price will skyrocket.
